March Feature Release brings interface enhancements to pop-ups and Quick Review

Beginning March 9, several interface enhancements will take effect in Workday, improving navigation and access to details for select business processes and pop-up functionality.

Here’s what to expect:

Pop-up enhancements

  • Pop-ups are more accessible and navigable with increased Tool Tips (such as emphasized Close and See More Details icons) and improved focus on pop-ups when navigating with a keyboard.

More details in Quick Review

  • When selecting the Quick Review button on an item in the Awaiting Your Actions section on the Home page, pop-ups now contain an “Expand All Details” button. Selecting this button loads additional data into the window.
    • For example: When selecting an employee’s time off request and choosing Expand All Details, managers now see the same details they would see in the My Tasks view, such as requesting employee’s position, start date and time, and end date and time.

This is one of several interface enhancements coming with the March Feature Release, including updates to Workday Announcements on the Home page, and a new pop-up available in the Time Entry calendar.
