New Absence Calendar experience coming in May

On May 4, 2024, Modernization will launch several major enhancements to the Absence Calendar in Workday that will make the way employees request and manage their absence quicker, easier, and more transparent.

These updates will change the look and feel of several key Absence pages and tasks, which will impact all employees who request time off or leave of absence in Workday, as well as those who manage absence on behalf of employees in their department or area.

As part of our communications to the WSU community, we will reach out directly with key updates to those who perform Absence tasks for their employees or departments, such as HR Partners, Timekeepers, Time Approvers, and Managers.
