New MyResearch integration reduces administrative burden

A new integration between Workday and MyResearch, which launches July 12, will reduce administrative burden for WSU staff involved in grant management, including departments. This new integration will make award setups more efficient, letting WSU researchers focus more on research.

This integration provides a single point of intake for grant information, reducing the confusion and miscommunication that can occur in back-and-forth email chains. Because you only need to input information once, into one platform, it eliminates duplicate and manual data entry, improving accuracy between MyResearch and Workday, and increasing the speed of new award setups.

Grant managers are encouraged to attend training to learn more about the integration. Details are available here. In the meantime, staff can review the new INT207 Award Setup Integration reference guide, or watch a video tutorial.

If you have questions about the new integration, reach out at the Workday Support Desk.
