Sneak Peak: Elevating Cougs 2024 for grants admins. and PIs
The 2024 Elevating Cougs conference offers Grants Managers and Principal Investigators (PIs) the opportunity to learn more about using Workday to its fullest potential to perform grants management tasks, including new and innovative grants tools and functionality launched within the last year.
At the 2023 Elevating Cougs conference, Workday Success Stories grants sessions covered a variety of higher-level topics, including reporting basics for Grant Managers and PIs and managing employees paid on grants. Revisit last year’s Elevating Cougs Workday grants sessions here.
This year, we’ll offer deeper dives into focused topics and recent developments in Workday for grants. Grants Managers and PIs will learn more about:
- How to make the most of the newest tools for grants management in Workday, including Adaptive Grants Forecasting and the new PI reporting dashboard.
- The collaborative efforts from the past year that led to innovations and have improved Workday grants processes and reporting.
- Detailed information about the latest enhancements for grants reporting.
- How other finance and HCM processes and data in Workday impact grants activities, and vice versa, through Workday TouchPoints themed sessions.
This year’s Workday Success Stories track will offer deep dives into a variety of finance, payroll, HCM, and cross-functional topics. Sessions will provide detailed insight into certain processes and functions in Workday, and highlight the ways Workday connects systems, information, and people across WSU.
Elevating Cougs will be held virtually October 22 and 23, 2024. Registration for Elevating Cougs launches July 8. More information about sessions and speakers will be made available soon.
