Issue Resolved: Workday Federated Search – no more errors reported
Issue: On the afternoon of Friday, November 17, we received a report that when using Workday Search, a WSU user received the following error: “The widget ‘federatedSearchResults’ was not found! It is probably configured incorrectly.”
As of 11/20, no more errors have been reported.

Details:
If users experience an error when using the search in Workday, they can use one of the following workarounds below:
- Clear your browser cache
- Use an alternate browser
- Switch from Federated to Classic Search using the steps outlined in this reference guide, or follow the instructions below:
- Select your profile icon in the top right of the Workday screen
- Select “My Account” from the menu
- Select “Change Preferences”
- In the “Search Preferences” section, remove the “New Workday Federated Search” from the Workday Search Provider field and select “Classic Workday Search”, or vice versa
- Log out and log back in again
