Employee Performance functionality coming to Workday

Modernization and HRS are currently exploring new employee performance functionality in Workday.

This functionality will allow users to complete employee reviews, route them for approval, and deliver reviews to an employee’s personnel file all within Workday.

Modernization currently hopes to implement this functionality for Classified Staff in early 2024, followed by Administrative Professionals.

Along with the new performance functionality, Modernization is reviewing a new Workday security role: Talent Partner. This new role will be responsible for many key aspects of the employee performance process, including initiating reviews when needed, monitoring the review process progress for their area, and performing reporting in Workday.
