Check Status of Service Desk Tickets Before Payroll Lock 11/3

Following the recent Service Desk and Workday outages, Modernization and Payroll Services request all employees who have submitted a service desk ticket to check the status of the ticket. If you do not see the request, please resubmit the ticket ahead of the Payroll lock at 11am.

This is important for those who have submitted pay impacting requests.

Modernization has a robust protocol for handling outage events such as those seen this week with both the Service Desk and Workday being heavily impacted. Part of that process includes checking the available data in the Service Desk to ensure no received requests were lost.

With the severity of the outages and the shortened timeline for payroll lock, Modernization and Payroll Services want to ensure all pay impacting actions for the pay period 10/16-10/31 have been submitted.
