Updates to job application create more seamless experience

Beginning Monday, February 6, 2023, HRS is changing how WSU requests documents from job candidates in Workday. This new approach will create a faster, more seamless application process for job seekers, and an easier viewing experience for search committees.

The application process will no longer use the questionnaire portion to request supplemental documents (e.g. cover letter, research statements, DEI statement, writing samples, etc.) Instead, applicants will upload all documents requested in “Application Instructions” in the “Resume” section of the application.

Application questionnaires will still be utilized to assist in determining candidate education, experience and minimum qualifications.  Recruitments opened prior to February 6, 2023, will follow current processes, utilizing questionnaires to request documents.
