Pilot Hire and Referral Incentive Program resources

On Monday, June 6, 2022, Human Resource Services launched a pilot staff hire incentive and employee referral incentive program.

Both programs are intended to help with recruitment efforts throughout the WSU system. The pilot programs will run from 6/6/2022 through 6/30/2023. More detailed information and FAQ’s regarding this pilot program can be found on the HRS website here.

The One-Time Payment category, reasons, and the business process have been updated in Workday for “Hire – Incentive” and “Referral – Incentive.”

Additionally, Costing Override Approvals have been added to the One-time Payments business process. Costing Allocations will route to the appropriate Approvers. For more information, view the Assign Cost Allocation Reference Guide.
