What’s changing for reporting?

The next installment of the 5 Major Changes series is here: Reporting.

Reporting will undergo several changes when WSU transitions to Workday in January 2021. Here are some of the changes you can look forward to:

• Dashboards will collect key reports and information. This will refine navigation and visibility to streamline organization and decision-making processes.
• Actionable reports will allow users to filter and sort data for specific details. Actionable reports are interactive and many will be accessible through mobile devices.
• Data updates will take place immediately, which ensures data remains up to date. Approvals and edits for transactions will also take place in real time and will eliminate the long wait to run reports.
• Data reports will be made available in several visual formats. This allows users to view and evaluate information in whichever way makes it easier to understand.
• A single report can contain both HR and finance data. This will eliminate the need to handle multiple outside systems and exports. Moreover, Workday will provide direct access to reporting at launch.
