October reporting updates

Below is a list of new and updated reports for the month of October:

Finance

  • CR PRO Find Supplier Invoices
    • We’ve modified this report to include supplier invoice details, invoice lines, splits, and payment details with checkbox options on the prompt. We also added remit to email, settlement runs, and the ability to search by worktags, which opens up a number of filtering possibilities.
    • This report will replace the existing reports listed below. We recommend adding any saved prompt filters or report schedules to the new report.
      • CR PRO Find Supplier Invoices, retiring 11/08/2024
      • CR PRO Find Supplier Invoice Accrual Journal Lines, retiring 11/08/2024
      • CR FIN Supplier Invoice Dates, retiring 11/08/2024
      • CR FIN Supplier Project Encumbrance, retiring 11/08/2024
  • CR PRO Find Expense Reports
    • This new report will replace the existing reports listed below. We recommend adding any saved prompt filters or report schedules to the new report.
      • CR FIN Find Expense Reports, retiring 11/08/2024
      • CR FIN Expense Report Dates, retiring 11/08/24
      • CR FIN Expense Reports by Cost Center, retiring 11/08/24

Grants

  • CR FIN Facilities and Administration (F&A) Expense Summary
    • This new report was requested by the Office of Research Support and Operations to view expenses funded by F&A returns (FD076),and can be run by individuals who hold the finance data view role.

HR

  • CR HCM Employee Snapshot
    • We added a new field called Institutional Reporting Faculty Contract Length to this report.
  • CR TTK Workers with Time Not Submitted or Approved
    • Inclusion of Deleted Time Blocks: The report will now include entries for deleted time blocks that need to be submitted to ensure accurate pay.
    • A new column titled “Is Deleted” has been added to the report. This column will indicate whether a time block that needs to be submitted or approved has been deleted, with a “Yes” or “No” value. We added this new field to help identify whether a time block is deleted so you know whether you will see it on the time entry calendar or not.

Payroll

  • CR PAY Payroll Accounting Journal Details – In Progress Payroll (aka PEARS)
    • We identified a defect causing the columns Position, Position Restriction Cost Center, and Position Restriction Position Type to return incorrect values for the position, as they were based on the position restriction. These columns have been replaced with the similar columns Position, Position’s Cost Center, and Position’s Position Type. These new columns are based on the position (not restriction).
    • As a result of this change, the prompts Position Restriction’s Cost Center and Position Restriction’s Cost Center Hierarchy were replaced with new prompts for Position’s Cost Center and Position’s Cost Center Hierarchy.
  • CR PAY All Current and Future Worker Costing Allocations with Current Organizational Defaults
    • This report has been replaced and updated to simplify and streamline both the prompt set and report output. The prompt set has been simplified to use “Organization” prompts for both Organizational Default worktags and Costing Allocation worktags, and checkboxes have been added to target workers with or without current or future Costing Allocations assigned. The report output includes relevant information related to the position, organizational defaults, and costing allocation overrides.
    • The worktags used for a Costing Allocation will be the Costing Allocation Override Worktags. If no value is provided for a Costing Allocation Override Worktag, then an Organizational Default Worktag will be used instead.
    • The old version of the report, now titled ‘CR PAY All Current and Future Worker Costing Allocations with Current Organizational Defaults – RETIRING 11/08/2024’, will be available for use until it’s retirement date of 11/8/2024. Before this occurs, we recommend updating the saved filters on the new version of the report.
