HRS conducting mass time submission Oct. 8

On Saturday, October 8, 2022, a mass time submission will occur. This automated action will mass submit to the Time Approver all time entries in the status of Not Submitted, Denied, or Sent Back. This Mass Submit action will address time from December 16, 2020 through August 31, 2022. The time entry calendar will be open until October 21, 2022 for corrections to be made.

Action will be needed by Time Approvers and Employees.

Time Approvers should take the following action:

  • Review the time in your inbox and approve if correct. If incorrect, return to the employee for corrections and resubmission no later than October 21, 2022.
  • Terminated Employees:
    • Terminated – Non-Student and/or Student Hourly: Time blocks can be corrected by the Time Approver as usual.
    • Terminated – Civil Service, AP and/or Faculty: Submit a Workday Service Desk ticket BEFORE making ANY corrections.
  • Time entry to approve from a time before you were the employees’ Time Approver:
    • Departments need to make corrections and resubmit during this window of time.
  • If you received time entry to approve in your inbox and it was from a time before you were an employees’ Time Approver:

Employees:

  • Take action on any inbox items related to time (“Sent Back”, “Deleted”, “Certify Time”)
  • Be prepared to speak with your Time Approver about time blocks they may receive
