More changes to Hire and Change Job formatting and templates coming this fall

In May, compensation actions within Hire and Change Job changed to a new format. Read more about these changes in this post. Beginning 9/20, the format for compensation actions in other areas, including Default Compensation and Request Comp Change, will move to this updated format.

As part of this process, the Modernization team will also review and assess fields that may not be needed, and will hide or lock unneeded fields where applicable.

Additionally, the Modernization team will begin the second phase of the Templates project begun earlier this year. During the first phase, Hire and Change Job templates were created.

Phase two, which is expected to launch in late Fall 2025, will include the creation of new Compensation Templates, as well as additional Change Job Templates.

Questions related to the updates above, as well as suggestions or feedback regarding the Templates project, may be submitted via the Workday Service Desk.
