Assign Costing Allocation task redesign

On March 15, Workday will roll out a redesign of the Assign Costing Allocation task. This update will not affect the functionality or routing of the process.

The redesigned task features an enhanced display which streamlines the user experience involved in adding and removing proposed costing. It now displays the assigned costing by date range within the chosen parameters. This allows for easier review and revision of historical data, identifying gaps in date ranges, and adding new costing allocations.

The Assign Costing Allocation reference guide will be updated with images of the new layout where applicable. Please note that the “+Add” button has moved and must be used to create a new line. If you do not create a new line, you will overwrite the existing costing allocation.
