Get involved with Modernization this July
The Modernization Project is ramping up this July. Here are a few ways to get involved:
Be a part of the Change Network: Do you want to help improve how WSU does business? Do your peers rely on you to know what’s going on and how to do things? Do you want to be part of the Modernization Initiative? Become a Modernization Change Agent or Super User! The Modernization Initiative is launching a Change Network to help the university community transition successfully to our new software for payroll, human resources, finance, and grants management. Learn more and nominate a colleague or yourself for a role.
Come to an open forum: Meet Modernization Team members, hear updates about the project, and get your questions answered at open forums on each campus this July. Visit the Modernization calendar for dates and details.
See a prototype of the new system in action: Tune in July 24 to see the first prototype of WSU’s new system for finance, human resources, payroll, and grants management. The Modernization Team will answer questions and demo selected business processes in Workday software with WSU data. All are welcome. No RSVP required. 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the CUB Auditorium in Pullman and streamed live via Zoom. This is the first prototype of Workday, designed for and by WSU, through significant collaboration and guidance from your peers. Since this is a prototype, the processes and system you see may look slightly different when we start using Workday in July 2020. Visit modernization.wsu.edu/prototype-preview for more information, the Zoom link, and a detailed schedule.
