The Modernization Team used feedback collected during Design Sessions to build prototypes of WSU’s new system for finance, payroll, human resources, and grants management, and shared these with the University community at Prototype Preview events in July and October of 2019. Below are more details and recordings from each event.
Prototype 2 Preview

Modernization returned on October 29 with Prototype 2 of Workday for WSU, sharing updated and new demonstrations of business processes with WSU data. The day included sessions for all employees, managers and supervisors, grant administrators and principal investigators, and administrators, and featured an overview of Workday and its reporting capabilities. On July 24, 2019, Modernization hosted a Prototype Preview event, revealing the first configuration of Workday for WSU. About Prototype 1
This is the first prototype of Workday, designed for and by WSU, through significant collaboration and guidance from your peers. Since this is a prototype, the processes and system you see may look slightly different when we start using Workday in July 2020.
