Updates to Work Study Earnings on payroll reports

Beginning with the Fall Semester, departments will see new Work Study earnings on their payroll reports within Workday. These new earnings will more accurately track work study hours and distribution of Work Study funds.

There will be no change in the process of assigning Work Study for departments.

The new earnings are as follows:

• Federal Work Study (40%) – FWS_0.4
• Federal Work Study (60%) – FWS_0.6
• State Work Study (40%) – SWS_0.4
• State Work Study (60%) – SWS_0.6
• Institutional Work Study (40%) – IWS_0.4
• Institutional Work Study (60%) – IWS_0.6
