Updates to Recruiting process and involved roles
We’re implementing changes to the recruiting process to help streamline the roles involved in completing steps. Moving forward, Primary Recruiting Coordinator will be an optional role. Additionally, HR Partner will be removed from some steps currently routed to both HR Partner and Primary Recruiter. Security will remain unchanged, so HR Partner and Primary Recruiting Coordinator (if assigned) will continue to have access and visibility to the process.
Detailed updates to the recruiting process are as follows:
- Primary Recruiting Coordinator will be an optional role, and will no longer be required in the Job Requisition and Evergreen Requisition processes.
- If assigned, Primary Recruiting Coordinator will continue to get the steps they previously received.
- If not assigned, all tasks assigned to the Primary Recruiting Coordinator will be sent to the Primary Recruiter.
- The International Programs step in Job Requisition will be moved from HR Partner to Recruiter.
- The HR Partner review step in Job Requisition will be moved to trigger at the same time as the Strategic Pause questionnaire.
- HR Partner will be removed from the Review Candidate step (this will continue to be sent to Primary Recruiter).
- The “Confirm Interview Team with HR Partner” to-do step in the Interview stage will be removed entirely from the process.
- HR Partner will be removed from Assessment (this will continue to be sent to Primary Recruiter).
- HR Partner will be removed from the Verbal Offer to-do step in the SMS stage (this will continue to be sent to Primary Recruiter).
- Primary Recruiter will be added to Background Check (HR Partner will also continue to receive the step so it can be completed by either role).
- The Manage Remaining Candidates to-do step in Employment Agreement will be changed from HR Partner to Primary Recruiter, and will be moved to the end of the process so it does not hold up the Hire.
- A Manager Offer Letter step will be added at the end of the Employment Agreement process to provide Managers with a copy of the completed offer letter.
- Manager will be removed from the Ready for Hire step so Hire/Add Job/Change Job will only be sent to HR Partner.
- A notification will be added to Hire/Add Job/Change Job to notify the Manager after the process has been initiated.
Relevant reference guides will be updated in concurrence with these changes.
