Previously approved time offs to be removed following employee termination date

To improve the efficiency of the separation process, Workday will now automatically remove any approved time offs that remain after an employee’s termination date.

This removal process will occur two days after an employee’s termination date. For example: if an employee had a week of annual leave approved in June, but then separated from the university on April 1st, Workday will automatically remove the annual leave in June on April 3rd.

This new feature will eliminate the need for any future dated time offs to be corrected and removed manually after separation.
