Assignee Worktag to be retired

After receiving community feedback regarding its effectiveness and administrative burden, Modernization has decided to retire the Assignee Worktag by late Spring 2026.

Planning is currently underway for the removal of the worktag, including those for alternative functionality to support similar tracking capabilities once it is no longer available.

Modernization will continue to provide updates, including a specific retirement date and related resources, via the Workday Digest.
