Prepare for October 2025 Mass Salary Increase blackout dates

In October 2025, HRS will process the following mass action in Workday:

• Administrative Professional Mass Salary Increase effective Oct. 1
• Represented Academic Student Employees (ASEs) mass salary increase effective Oct. 1
• Faculty merit-based salary increase effective Oct. 1

Departments are encouraged to prepare for this blackout date by reviewing the October 2025 HCM Mass Action Timelines and Options guide. This guide provides information about key deadlines and tasks that require completion prior to the processing of the October mass actions. Departments may also review the standing Staffing and Compensation Blackout Information guide for basic information regarding staffing and compensation blackouts occurring each year, and links to relevant blackout timelines.

Throughout October, the Modernization team will identify in-flight actions that may cause fallout during the mass action. Human Resource Services will work with the relevant HR and Compensation partners of any out-of-deadline in-flight actions.
