Update to Compensatory Time Off accrual and routing

Effective July 1, 2025, improved Workday functionality allows Compensatory (Comp) Time to accrue on the day it is earned.

Previously, Comp Time accrued by the period and required approval by an HR Partner to ensure correct application. With this update, HR Partners no longer need to approve Comp Time after employees’ managers’ approval.

Please note that Holiday in Lieu time off will continue to accrue by the period and still requires HR Partner review and approval for accurate usage.
