Staffing and Compensation blackout information

In an effort to provide timely and ongoing information regarding mass action processing blackouts, Modernization has developed a standing Staffing and Compensation Blackout Information guide. This guide provides basic information regarding staffing and compensation blackouts occurring each year, and provides links to relevant blackout timelines.

Additionally, to help minimize future-dated events which may cause issues with the mass actions, validations have been placed on Compensation Change, Change Job, End Job, and Termination for all applicable employee types. These validations are specific to the timeframe for each employee type. For example: Classified Staff and Non-Permanent types are impacted during the Mass Salary increase in July, but Student Hourly is not impacted until minimum wage changes in January.
