Changes to Hire and Change Job coming soon

This May, Modernization will implement a series of changes in the Hire and Change Job processes. These updates include:

• Consolidating tasks: The following change may be familiar to those who conduct recruitments. With this change, some tasks will be able to be consolidated into the initiating action for Hire and Change Job.
• Change Job templates: Along with consolidating tasks, templates will be created for different types of Change Jobs. The first set of templates will include: Renewal, Location Change, and Supervisory Organization Change.

Additional new functionality for Hire and Change Job is anticipated later in 2025. The Modernization HCM team is already working on a second phase of updates to bring more Change Job templates, as well as Compensation templates.

Reference guides associated with the processes above will be updated along with these changes. We will continue to provide additional information on the Modernization website and in the Workday Digest as more information is available.
