Open Enrollment reminders for November

Open Enrollment is ongoing through November 25, 2024. HRS encourages employees to be aware of the following reminders and events:

Vision benefits will become a standalone plan and no longer be part of the Medical Plan.  ALL benefit-eligible employees will need to make a vision plan election.  Be sure to review the Open Enrollment Vision FAQ’s

New Premium Rates – Kaiser rates are going down, and Uniform is increasing slightly.

Presentations for Open Enrollment have been recorded and posted on the Open Enrollment website.  Topics include:

  • Open Enrollment Overview
  • Vision Benefits
  • FSA Overview
  • HSA/CDHP Overview

Benefits Fairs have begun. For more information, visit the statewide Benefit Fairs schedule. A virtual Benefits Fair is also available.

Lastly, when making Workday elections, employees must reach the final page, where they will be asked to save/print a confirmation page. If they have not accessed this page, they have not fully submitted your election and it will not be processed. It is strongly recommended that employees save/print this confirmation page for your records.  If one reopens the Open Enrollment event to make a change or confirm elections, they must fully submit the election again, accessing the final page. Opening the event overrides the previous submission and causes that submission to disappear, and a new review/election must be fully submitted. Employees may re-open the event by typing “Employee Benefits Open Enrollment Selection” in the search box in Workday.
