Changes coming for Open Enrollment and 2025 PEBB benefits
HRS encourages employees to be aware of some big changes to Open Enrollment in Fall 2024, including:
- The Open Enrollment period will be Oct. 28 through Nov. 25. This is a change to the historical practice of running Open Enrollment through the month of November. Employees should mark their calendars to ensure their Workday elections are submitted no later than Nov. 25. (The event will be available via the Workday myTasks/inbox on Oct. 28.)
- Starting next year, vision benefits will be a separate benefit election and no longer part of medical plans. Therefore, during open enrollment employees need to make a vision plan election of one of the three plans offered.
- Premium changes for 2025 will include the Kaiser plans going down from the higher rates experienced in 2024, and slight increases to the Uniform plans.
