New HRS site streamlines access to Workday resources
WSU Human Resource Services have launched an updated website, redesigned to better support the needs of current employees, administrators, managers, and prospective employees.
Built with ease of access as a top priority, the new HRS site enhances and streamlines the information and resources essential to the WSU community. Learn more about what’s changed across the site in this post.
Whether they’re only logging in to enter time or are regularly performing complex finance or HR tasks in a departmental administrative role, Workday plays a role in the experience of all WSU employees. As part of these updates, important Workday resources and trainings are now more prominently featured across the site.
Visitors to the site will find the following Workday-related improvements:
- Key Workday resources related to functions like Time & Leave on the new Employee, Manager, and Personnel Admin landing pages.
- Links to relevant Workday resources across other HRS areas, including Benefits and Medical Leave and Accommodation.
- A new Common HR Actions calendar and HRS Timelines & Metrics page designed to help Personnel Admins plan for the year ahead.
- Other Workday planning guides available on the HRS site include the Paylock Checklist, I Want to Hire Someone, What Do I Ned to Know?, and Workday Touchpoints & Examples.
- Updated Navigation within the Recruitment Toolkit, offers clearer guidance and direct links to Workday resources for the Background Check and Sexual Misconduct Statement processes.
- A new “Who are Personnel Admins and What Do They Do” page shares which roles are under the Personnel Admin umbrella, what they do, who they support, and links to important resources.
Through these updates, HRS aims to provide an improved user experience for all WSU employees, helping users more easily access the information they need to excel in their roles. Visit the new site now to explore these changes!
