New Time Entry Validations for positions with no Compensation or passed End Employment Date

Beginning May 5, two critical changes aimed at improving the accuracy and compliance of time reporting will go into effect in Workday. These include:

  • Critical Validation for Time Entry on Positions with No Compensation: This new critical validation prevents employees from submitting time on positions that do not have active compensation.
  • Soft Validation for Time Entry on Positions Past End Employment Date: This new soft validation triggers a warning when employees enter time on positions that have surpassed their End Employment Date. This validation serves as a reminder to review and correct any discrepancies in employment dates.

These updates are designed to enhance the overall functionality and reliability of our time entry processes.
