Modernization team members present at Seattle Children’s Hospital Reporting Symposium

On November 14, members of the Modernization team presented at the Seattle Children’s Hospital Reporting Symposium, showcasing both Workday and Adaptive Planning’s reporting and grants capabilities to hospital research center leaders and research administrators.

The hospital, which is in the process of implementing Workday, invited Christine Galbreath, Lead Business Systems Analyst for grants, and Jason Stucki, Reporting Manager, to speak about WSU’s Workday grants and reporting functionality. Jason and Christine demonstrated WSU’s key innovative grants and reporting tools, including:

  • WSU’s PI Dashboard and Grant Administrator Dashboard
  • Embedded reports on Grant and Award
  • Workday Adaptive Grants Forecasting

Representatives from Seattle Children’s expressed particular interest the possibility of developing their own grants forecasting tool similar to WSU’s Adaptive Grants Forecasting, for which the university recently received national industry honors for being the first tool of its kind developed for supporting research.

“Thank you so much for taking the time to help us imagine what’s possible with Workday. Our team will really benefit from the work you’ve done and we appreciate your mentorship.”
