A look back at Elevating Cougs 2024: Workday Success Stories
This year’s Elevating Cougs conference welcomed over 800 WSU employees for two days of peer-led learning, featuring 51 sessions and 72 speakers, the majority of whom are WSU employees. Session topics covered Workday skills and updates, professional and personal development, leadership, artificial intelligence, and more. Here’s a quick look at the Workday Success Stories track, and what Workday users at WSU took away from this year’s event:
This year’s conference offered 19 Workday Success Stories sessions. These included several cross-track sessions, linking together Workday with other key topics in the Developing and Leading as a Cougar spaces.

- “A.I. in the Cougar Workplace: A Panel Discussion for WSU Employees”

Other popular sessions included “Workday Reporting Tips & Tricks,” “Workday TouchPoints: How Finance, HCM, and Payroll are all connected in Workday,” and the Payroll Masterclass.

Planning for the 2025 Elevating Cougs event begins soon. Attendee feedback is a key to the planning process; feedback from the 2023 Elevating Cougs event helped shape this year’s conference lineup, session length and format, and more. We encourage all who attended Elevating Cougs to submit their feedback and ideas for improving the conference experience via this anonymous survey.
Those who registered for the event may now access session recordings in the Zoom conference platform. Couldn’t attend the live event? In the coming weeks, session replays and materials will be available to all WSU employees in Percipio. We will announce the availability of these session via the Elevating Cougs website and the Workday Digest.
