New “Close/Inactivate a Supervisory Organization” ticket type now available in Workday Service Desk

As WSU has grown into Workday, our Supervisory Organization (Sup Org) count has expanded considerably. There are, in some cases, empty Sup Orgs and/or Sup Orgs which have only vacant positions. To maintain an accurate organizational structure and reporting and support data integrity, these unneeded sup orgs should be inactivated and removed.

A new ticket type, Close/Inactivate a Supervisory Organization, is now available in the Workday Service Desk allowing departments to request the removal of empty or unneeded Sup Orgs. Departments can locate empty Sup Orgs by running the Workday report CR HCM Supervisory Organizations with No Active Workers to be Inactivated.
