Tips & Tricks: Find your grants account balances using Dashboard GRA Principal Investigator

Principal Investigators (PIs) can easily access balance information for state accounts, grants and more in Workday by using Dashboard GRA Principal Investigator.

Dashboard GRA Principal Investigator brings together data on your Grants, Programs and Gifts to help PIs access balances, who is being paid on their accounts, and other helpful links and information.

To get started, enter “Dashboard GRA Principal Investigator” in the Workday search bar, or look for Dashboard GRA Principal Investigator on the Workday home page under Your Top Apps. Then, use the tabs at the top of the dashboard to access the following information:

  • Grant Financials
    • This tab contains information related to Grant balances and burn rate, including cost share.
  • Program and Gift Financials
    • This tab includes information related to Program and Gift revenue, expenses, and account balances.
  • Personnel
    • This tab allows users to view who is being paid on their Grants, Programs, or Gifts and flags workers whose costing allocations are close to expiring.
