WSU joins two Workday Design Partner Groups for grants

Modernization is pleased to announce that WSU has joined two Design Partner Groups (DPGs) with Workday to help improve grants processes.

Ty Simanson (Modernization) and Diane Rathbun (Business Services, Vancouver) are representing WSU in a DPR for Grants Researcher and Department Experience, with the goal of evaluating potential system improvements and features related to managing people paid on grants with reporting.

Christine Galbreath (Modernization) is representing WSU in a DPG for Billing and Accounting for grants, and will help evaluate potential system improvements and features related to improving user control over billing and streamlining the billing process to involve fewer manual steps.

Please note that while Workday is continuing to enhance its products, changes based on our participation may take longer to take effect, as Workday gathers our feedback and makes system changes based on our input.

We’d like to thank the community members who have already provided us feedback and suggestions regarding grants processes at WSU. WSU employees can continue to submit feedback and system improvement suggestions at any time at the Workday Service Desk.
