Modernization joins Workday Design Partner Group to improve payroll processes

Modernization is pleased to announce that WSU has joined a Design Partner Group (DPG) with Workday, with the goal of developing an easier way to process payroll journal entries.

The DPG will work to refine a list of major pain points with the existing Payroll Accounting Adjustment (PAA) process in Workday, and begin brainstorming potential solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for WSU to provide input toward the further development of the Workday system, along with influencing feature design.

Please note that while Workday is continuing to enhance its products, changes based on our participation may take longer to take effect, as Workday gathers our feedback and makes system changes based on our input.

We’d like to thank the community members who have already provided us feedback and suggestions regarding issues with the PAA process. This feedback will allow us to provide more input as part of the DPG. If you would like to provide your thoughts or suggestions about the PAA process, please feel free to submit a JIRA ticket here

We’ll communicate more as more information regarding a potential redesign and timeline becomes available.
