Position Budget update and timeline
Phase 1 timeline published
Phase 1 of the Adaptive Planning Project involves enabling Position Budget functionality in Workday and loading data. Here is a more detailed timeline for Phase 1:
- End-to-End Testing (E2E): April 25 – May 6
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): May 9 – 20
- Data Collection: Early May
- Training: June and July
- Launch: Early July

We have identified testers for End-to-End Testing and are working with them to collect sample data to test in Workday.

Coming up next
We’ll work with Area Finance Officers (AFOs) on several tasks in the coming months:
- Collecting Position Budget data for their areas by early May
- Mapping 2 new Workday security roles to manage Position Budget in their areas
- Supplying data and testers for UAT
- Setting Position Budget policy for their areas
We realize that many finance budget requests happen at this time of year, and we are putting out the request for data and testers as early as possible. We’ll share more guidance soon.
