Reducing Workday errors when performing tasks using multiple tabs

Occasionally, attempting to open Workday in more than one browser tab at the same time results in an error. Here are two suggested ways to open Workday in multiple browser tabs that may reduce errors:

  1. Instead of opening a brand new tab in your browser and logging in again: Once you have one tab of Workday open and are ready to open a second tab, right-click on any blue-hyperlinked object in Workday, or right-click on the cloud icon in the top right of the screen. Select “See in New Tab” to launch that item in the new tab.
  2. If the above fails, open one tab in one browser, and a second tab in another browser, such as Chrome or Firefox.
