Workday Best Practices: Uploading Files
Employees uploading or attaching files to Workday are encouraged to follow best practices in order to avoid issues.
Before uploading a file into Workday, users should ensure the file is properly saved first to their local machine (such as on one’s desktop or in a local folder). Then the file may be attached in Workday.
Saving a file locally allows employees to verify the file’s integrity and size before it can successfully enter Workday. Taking this initial step significantly reduces the likelihood of encountering errors with attachments and uploading corrupt files.
It is not recommended to upload files into Workday directly from an email or third-party location.
