Workday skills review: Prepare for Elevating Cougs 2024

In 2023, the Workday Success Stories track at Elevating Cougs offered sessions covering a variety of higher-level topics in finance, HCM, payroll, grants, and reporting. This year’s sessions will feature deeper dives into certain processes and tools in Workday, and recent innovations across these functional areas. 

Because this year’s sessions include advanced insight into Workday functionality, employees are encouraged to prepare by reviewing session replays from last year’s Elevating Cougs Workday Success Stories track.

A list of available Workday Success Stories session replays, including links to session recordings and materials in Percipio, can be found here. We recommend employees review content based upon their job tasks and primary functional areas of interest.

Employees planning to register for grants-related sessions, including Grant Managers and Principal Investigators (PIs), are also encouraged to learn more about recent developments in grants by revisiting the following trainings:

• “Dashboard GRA Principal Investigator” training for PIs
• Workday Adaptive Grants Forecasting training

We’re excited to dig deeper into Workday at this year’s Elevating Cougs, and learn more about how the systems connects processes, data, and people across WSU.
