Position Budget update: Testing kicks off

Here’s the latest about the Position Budget phase of the Adaptive Planning Project:

  • End-to-End Testing (E2E) kicked off last week. Testers are using sample data from different areas across WSU to complete position budget tasks in Workday, and helping identify defects to be addressed prior to User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • We have enough testers for User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Thank you to everyone who volunteered!
  • We’ve created a new Frequently Asked Questions page about the project.
  • Area Finance Officers (AFOs) are working on developing area policies and submitting position budget data for upload into Workday.
  • Workday Security Partners are mapping roles in their areas to the two new Workday security roles required for position budget tasks.

Up next is UAT, beginning in mid-May. We’ll continue to post project updates here and in the Workday Digest.
