Workday Tips & Tricks: Updating your default Search settings
Do you often find yourself manually updating your search category to ‘All of Workday’ when a common search cannot locate what you’re looking for, such as individual transactions?
Cut down on your search times by updating your default search settings in your profile to automatically search all of Workday.
Here’s how:
On the Workday home page, select the Profile (cloud) icon in the top right corner, then select My Account.
Under the My Account menu, select Change Preferences.
In the Change Preferences menu, locate the Search Preferences section. In this field, update your Preferred Search Category to All of Workday.
Select OK.
You have successfully updated your Search preferences!
