Workday tips and tricks: finding relevant information in Workday

Learning a new system can be difficult. This new blog series will give tips and tricks for making your transition to Workday easier.

First up, you can find related information for any item in Workday by selecting the icon of three orange dots that appear to the right of that object. Like this:

This button will show you tasks you have access to that are frequently used for the selected transactions. Some information includes location, person, org chart and more.

For example, the icon next to your emergency contact displays additional details for that person, as well as options to view benefits and personal information.
