A bright future for reporting

Washington State University for the past 40 years has used multiple systems, paper forms, and manual processes for essential reporting of financial and human resources data.

Starting with Workday, there will be a place for these processes to live without the hassle of switching among several systems. You will be able to create, analyze, and export reports with greater efficiency and ease.

Check out the new reporting web page or this video and read on to learn more.

Here are some things to look forward to with reporting in Workday:

  • Users can… expect to see the WSU Chart of Accounts replaced with Workday’s Foundation Data Model (FDM). This switch will create a consistent and trusted area for financial and human resource reporting.
  • Users can… update reports, approve transactions, and edit information in Workday without waiting overnight to run reports.
  • Users can… access several reports on mobile devices. Reports can range from summaries down to specific details, all in real time.
  • Users can… export reports with ease from Workday to the file type of their choice.
  • Users can… store financial data in Workday without using several outside systems to create and manage reports.
