Ty Simanson
Business Analyst, Grants
Ty is motivated by helping others. He believes the Modernization Initiative will provide additional tools which will make supporting WSU’s missions more efficient and therefore more effective.
Prior to joining the Modernization team, Ty worked in Integrative Physiology and Neuroscience for 7+ years and the School of Biological Sciences for 3+ years. Before that, he worked 14+ years in banking, and served 4 years as an officer in the U.S. Navy.
When Ty isn’t working, he enjoys taking walks with his wife, reading, volunteering at his church, and playing cards with friends.
