Ben Howard
Business Systems Analyst Senior, Payroll
Ben started working for WSU in 2018 with Sponsored Programs Services. He also spent 2 years with the University grant community in the Office of Research Support and Operations. During this time, Ben worked with the Office of Research developers, central staff, and functional users to improve the MyResearch Grants Database and business processes.
Ben grew up in Pullman and attended WSU, which gave him an attachment to many aspects of his alma mater. When the opportunity arose to join the Modernization Team working to replace legacy systems with Workday, Ben jumped at the chance to be involved in the process.
When he’s not at work, you can find Ben cheering on his Cougs and Seattle Sounders, spending time with his two dogs, and working on the design for his upcoming home build.
