When WSU picked Workday to replace the legacy HR/Finance systems, Gunjan was excited. Thirty-five years ago, he was part of the team that built these legacy systems. Those were exciting times, too. WSU was on the cutting edge of technology back then. By investing in Workday, WSU will once again be on the leading edge as a user of the most modern Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) cloud technology available on the market.
Gunjan’s role on the project is to provide the architectural perspective based on institutional knowledge of current internal processes and systems, help determine how legacy data will be converted, decide on inbound and outbound integrations, and ensure that the existing processes and workflows are mapped correctly and securely to the business process definitions in Workday.
Outside of work, Gunjan enjoys spending time with family, playing golf in the summer, and watching football during the cooler months.
