Discovery Workshops: What To Expect

 

Dear Subject Matter Expert,

We look forward to seeing you at the upcoming Discovery Sessions! We want to give you more information on the purpose of these sessions and what you can expect when attending.

Purpose of the Discovery Sessions and Your Role

The objectives of the discovery sessions are to share high-level Workday functionality and allow process experts such as yourself to work directly with the functional teams for the topic(s) you represent to continue documenting mandatory and regulatory requirements, current business needs, pain points and goals for future processes.

We will not make any long-term decisions during these workshops.

These sessions are intended to be collaborative and allow the project team to learn from your experience and expertise. We ask that you attend each session with an open mind, be engaged and be prepared to share your knowledge of the area you’re representing. Your insights are key for the configuration of the new Workday system and your input is greatly appreciated.

Action Items

Prior to attending your assigned session, please complete the following items:

  • If you were not able to attend one of our campus kickoff events, please review the Modernization Initiative Kickoff and introductory video on the Modernization Website.
  • Bring your laptop and charger if one is available to you. If you don’t have a laptop, you can still participate (smartphone, tablet, on paper).
