Point of Sale System Project

Project Overview

WSU will retire our aging point of sale system, Core One Step, in November 2021. We will replace it with a new system called TouchNet on December 1, 2021.

TouchNet is a modern point of sale system. It includes multiple programs to support business needs, such as Business Office Cashiering for department payments and deposits, an Online Bill Payment Account Center and payment plans for students, a Marketplace that allows departments to sell items online, and more. I am a student/parent

WSU is replacing its old system for online bill payment. The new system will look a little different, but be easier to use.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • The new system will go live on December 1, 2021.
  • You’ll still go through myWSU to pay tuition and other fees.
  • Payment plans will now be an option, starting with spring semester 2022.

Here’s what you need to do:

  • If you have direct deposit set up for refunds, you will need to set this up again after December 1, 2021. Here’s how.

I work for WSU

TouchNet has different programs. The first one you’ll experience is Business Office Cashiering for departmental deposits and payments.

TouchNet will integrate with Workday and myWSU, so you won’t need to learn another new system. We’ll provide training and resources to help you navigate any changes.
