What is Workday? 

Workday is WSU’s primary finance and administration, human resources, post-award grants management, and payroll system. In January 2021, Workday replaced the former mainframe finance and administration system, AIS.  

AIS was developed in the 1980’s and served the University for over 30 years. The implementation of Workday provides the University community with safer, more effective technology and administrative processes. 

Workday is a modern technology for a modern university. Its launch plays a pivotal role in bringing WSU into the 21st century and accelerating the Drive to 25 Initiative.
