The Modernization Team encourages WSU employees to share their thoughts about using the Workday system so far, through a survey that should take no longer than 10 minutes.

Workday Open Office Hours start tomorrow, Tuesday, March 2. These open Zoom sessions are an opportunity for employees to bring their questions and talk to Modernization team members, who will be available to provide answers to questions, links to resources, and demonstrate processes within Workday.

The University recently transitioned to using a new software called Workday. This change affects WSU employees, including undergraduate and graduate students hired by WSU. Students with current appointments should now use Workday to do the following:

If your time off balances or annual leave accrual rate appears incorrect, please check with your department administrator. If there are still inconsistencies, your department administrator will need to submit a Workday Service Desk ticket for a change on your behalf. The Workday Service Desk and Knowledge Base (support.workday.wsu.edu) are not supported by Internet Explorer. Modernization and ITS recommend using a different Internet browser, such as Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari, to access these platforms.

Check out the recently updated to review new process names as well as terms found in Workday. The Terminology Crosswalk is a resource to help connect the dots between common terms and concepts used now to what they will be called in Workday after launch in December.

The launch of Workday is swiftly approaching. The Modernization Team just launched a new tool to help answer any questions that arise.
