Modernization Team Visits WSU Campus Locations

In late April, Modernization Team members visited the WSU campus locations at Everett, Spokane, Tri-Cities, and Vancouver to engage with community members and increase awareness of Modernization Initiative activities. Team members presented a general project update and afterward held an open discussion with those in attendance, answering questions and diving deeper into points of interest. Discovery Workshops Complete, Design Sessions Launch

More than 365 people dedicated their energy and expertise to advancing the Modernization Initiative through a series of Discovery Workshops this February through early April. These Subject Matter Experts (SMEs for short) from all areas of the university explored and discussed current business processes, procedures, and policies. They helped the Modernization Team document mandatory and regulatory requirements, business needs, and goals for future processes. » More …

Modernization Project kicks off university-wide

New website resources and newsletter launch

With the official kickoff of the Modernization Project in early 2019, members of the Modernization Team and University Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) continue our Discovery Workshops, which will occur through early April 2019. During these sessions, the project team will collaborate with WSU SMEs to gather information, and document mandatory and regulatory requirements, current business needs, and goals for future processes. The information collected during the discovery sessions will be used as input to aid in the configuration of upcoming Workday prototype.
